Description: Wonderful large brass antique front door knob. In cast brass this example dates to the 1800’s. The handle itself has a segmented lobed pattern surrounding a central boss. The back plate is circular with a trefoil shaped outer edge in the Gothic revival style.

Condition: Very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. This handle has been lightly hand polished and left unlacquered. The threaded bolt at the back has been soldered in place, a more recent piece of refurbishment work. Complete with original washer and nut.
