Description: An original, quality Scottish estate made antique doorstop/porter. This fine example is crafted from a very large Clydesdale horse shoe which is mounted onto a cast iron base. The shape of the horse shoe acts as a handle to lift and move the door stop. The heavy iron base gives plenty of stability to this door stop, which provides the perfect finishing touch for a country house style.

Condition: Very good. Sensitively restored to retain the character and patina of the piece. Some slight signs of wear from age and use.
