Description: Original, quality pair of antique door knobs, dating from the 1800’s. The heavy cast brass handles have a distinctive Rococo pattern radiating out from the centre. With a single backplate these handles are designed for rim lock fitting. Where the side with a backplate sits on the wood of the door and the handle without an back plate sits flush to the rim lock. Complete with its original square bar spindle and grub screws.

Condition: Very good. Slight signs of wear from age and use. These handles have been hand polished and are unlacquered therefore a gentle clean with brass polish occasionally will maintain the shine.
